What to Expect
Before Your Appointment
Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for 2 weeks. No retinoids, peels, or active acids for 5–7 days. You’ll be numbed before treatment.
During Treatment
HALO uses both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to resurface your skin. Most patients feel heat and prickling but tolerate it well due to the numbing.
Aftercare
Expect redness, swelling, and “peppering” (tiny dark dots) for 3–5 days. Avoid makeup and sun exposure. Use a gentle cleanser and SPF. Results build over 1–2 weeks and continue improving.
